PREMIERE – Which ones are recommended?
Due to the upcoming release of the Monsterfox EP from Bock & Fuchs on Mirror Records we got in contact with Premiereservice for the first time.
But first what exactly is a premiere service and what is it used for?
Premieres are, as the name suggests, first releases. Mostly the tracks of the labels on the premiere service are released first, and it’s mainly about reaching an additional audience.
Per track and channel (Soundcloud, Youtube etc.) a track will only be uploaded once as a premiere.
What are the advantages of premieres for labels?
The most effective premieres are when a pre-sale is available. The tracks will be easier to chart.
Are premieres free of charge?
Usually, a small fee is taken for a premiere. A normal price is between 30 and 50$. This price is for accounts with between 12’000 and 80’000 followers. (The information comes from personal relationships to the premiere services) If you pay more, you might get ripped off. Premieres are often given for free or at a discount if you know someone personally.
We also make premieres on our Techno account. However, these are reserved for friends and are completely free for them.
Which premiere service should I use?
There are extremely many different channels. However, we will make a small recommendation here. (The order doesn’t matter! None of this service has paid us for this contribution)
Progressive Astronaut
Progressive Astronaut from Croatia is probably one of the most famous services.
